Dell Experience Center Takes the First Step Beyond "Direct Sales"
April 28 News - According to foreign media reports, Dell CEO Michael Dell recently stated that in order to move out of the current slump and stimulate business growth, the company needs to consider business models beyond direct sales.
Michael mentioned in a recent email to employees: "Direct sales is an innovative model, but it shouldn't be a dogma. We need to simplify our business model and meet customer needs through means other than direct sales."
Michael further explained: "This is the most exciting phase in the company's history, but it demands unity from all of us. We are embarking on a profound transformation that has been carefully considered."
Dell's spokesperson, Bob Pearson, has confirmed this email. Some analysts believe: "Dell will seek new channel partners to expand beyond its direct sales model."
This marks Dell's initial step towards exploring alternative business strategies beyond its traditional direct sales approach, signaling a significant shift in its market strategy.
