Takaratomy launches Kotoridayori Hummingbird, the new swaying pet for the office.

Japan's Takaratomy, known as Tomy in the US, has launched this solar-powered desktop ornament for you to conquer your workspace with. This Kotoridayori hummingbird is said to enthusiastically sing various tunes after being exposed to light, and will also chirp a few times when it senses "vibration." It also has a built-in battery, so it can tweet a couple of times when you're too busy to notice. It's appropriately sized to fit in your pocket for safe transport back home. Available in blue/orange/green colors. This little thing is estimated to last...20 seconds before even the nicest person in the office gets angry, but it doesn't matter; if someone throws it out the window, you'd only lose $25.
