Just last month, a vulnerability in MTK platform phones had countless mobile phone users worried about the security of their devices. Unexpectedly, this issue resurfaced at the beginning of the month on the Symbian S60 smart platform, which has a larger market share.

Recently, an article online titled "Security Vulnerabilities Found in Nokia and Other Smartphones, Making Them Susceptible to DOS Attacks" caused panic among many mobile phone users. The source of this article was from this year's Chaos Club (Chaos Club, one of the world's most renowned hacker organizations) conference, where a hacker wrote a text message on-site. This message could completely disable the SMS function of Nokia Symbian S60v3, S60v2, and S60v3FP1 phones - after receiving more than ten messages, they would be unable to receive any further messages. Some models would even face system crashes after receiving just one text message. Achieving this is very simple; you only need to send a message containing an email address with more than 32 characters.
