A process for producing magnesium sulfate in the treatment of waste sulfuric acid liquid from titanium dioxide, wherein the titanium dioxide waste sulfuric acid liquid is mixed with magnesia or magnesium oxide and stirred to allow full ion exchange reaction. After sufficient reaction, the filtrate separation by pressing obtains a clear magnesium sulfate solution, which is then concentrated by evaporation.
