First impressions of Chrome

The app shortcuts are extremely convenient to use,

especially when used for Google's own services (Gmail, Docs).

The speed is top-notch.

It’s said that the execution of JS scripts is 38 times faster than IE, and speed has been one of the highlights Google has consistently promoted about this browser. Meanwhile, Firefox claims that "the JavaScript engine in version 3.1 is 30% faster than Chrome." But honestly, in terms of webpage loading speed, Chrome is indeed very fast, comparable to Opera.

Clean interface, large visible area:

Tab bar — located on the title bar;

Status bar — only displayed in the lower-left corner when needed;

Sidebar — none;

Search bar — none, you can directly search in the address bar;

Menu bar — none, system menus are consolidated into two drop-down buttons;

Add-ons — currently unable to add extensions (you can view installed plugins by typing `about:plugins`), so can you imagine a browser more minimalist and with a larger visible web area than Chrome?
