Google Releases Picasa 3.0 Beta

Google made a major technical upgrade to the new version of Picasa 3.0 and Picasa Web Albums, adding facial recognition technology and a new "Name Tags" feature in Picasa albums that can help users quickly tag all individuals in photos, thereby categorizing and sharing photos based on the people in them.
