How many excellent products of the global version of Google have not yet entered China? Google Pack should be considered one of them. The explanation from Google China is that they are currently developing a new version, and once development is complete, they will launch this service. When Google China revealed this news, it was still called "software package," but today, when I visited this address again, the name had been changed to "Google Software Selection."

At the same time as changing the name, Google China added two new software offerings: Google-Jinshan Dictionary and Rising Antivirus Software, based on Google Toolbar, Firefox browser with Google features, Google Pinyin Input Method, Picasa, and Adobe Reader. The Rising Antivirus Software offered through Google Software Selection is a free version specifically for this service, combined with the existing Spyware Doctor service in Google Software Selection, which can basically protect personal computers.

To be honest, Rising has a poor reputation among Chinese internet users, especially those who are more interested in IT. Although its image has improved somewhat after the 360 transformation incident, its future direction remains to be tested. Previously, Maxthon's announcement of cooperation with Rising sparked large-scale protests from netizens. It remains to be seen whether Google's cooperation with Rising will affect Google's reputation among internet users.
