According to foreign websites, Anna Patterson, a former Google search architect who resigned in 2006, launched the latest search engine Cuill (pronounced COOL; website: http://www.cuill.com/) on Monday, aiming to challenge Google's monopoly. The search engine was jointly developed and operated by Anna and her husband, Stanford University professor Tom Costello, as well as two other former Google engineers, Russell Power and Louis Monier. Currently, Cuill's search index covers 12 billion web pages. Patterson believes that the number of indexed pages in her search engine is at least three times that of Google. However, it is not possible to verify this claim right now.
