YouTube Drains Traffic from uTube.com, a Site With a Similar Name

The website of "Universal Tube & Rollform Equipment" suffered an unexpected disaster because too many Internet users mistyped YouTube as utube when entering the address. In August alone, its hit rate reached as high as 68 million. The problem got worse last week after Google announced the acquisition of YouTube, almost paralyzing the operation of the utube website. It was ineffective even when a new server was adopted until the company increased the capacity to barely keep it going. However, the company received at least 50 customer calls pointing out the problem, much to the annoyance of its employees.
