Seoul is a beautiful city. The name "SEOUL" originated from China, and its history is older than that of "Han城". Chinese historical books used the term "Su Wo", which means "capital", and it has a very similar pronunciation to "SEOUL". Its total area is 605.5 square kilometers. Seoul is surrounded by mountains and hills with an altitude of about 500 meters, and 40% of the urban area is mountainous and rivers. The northern part of the city is at a higher elevation. North Han Mountain, Dao Feng Mountain, and Eagle Peak form a natural barrier. The Han River, South Korea's largest river, flows from east to west through the city, dividing Seoul into two parts: south and north. The length of the river flowing through the city is approximately 41.5 kilometers, with a width of 400-1000 meters and a depth of 6-10 meters.
Seoul has been the capital for nearly 600 years and is also an ideal place for tourists to shop. Duty-free goods can be purchased at large department stores such as Shinsegae, Lotte, Meiduobo, and Dongbang Plaza in the city center. The prices of duty-free goods in Seoul are uniformly regulated.
