Korean Central Television broadcasts every day at 5:00 pm and ends at 11:00 pm. The news programs are usually scheduled at 5:10, 8:00, and 10:00. Among these three news programs, the 8:00 pm "News Broadcast" is the main event and the most watched program by the audience. Due to the one-hour time difference between Pyongyang and Beijing, the Korean television's nightly "News Broadcast" airs during the same time slot as China Central Television's "News Broadcast".
