Google.cn shows animated style menu again

In fact, the animated menu homepage similar to Google Korea has been tested on and off since last November. I believe many friends have already seen it. But today's version looks like an official release, because many readers of GSeeker, including "Hillman.zhang" and myself, have seen this homepage on Google.cn, so it is probably no longer a random test.

Similar to before, Google displayed its main products on the homepage with an animated menu, including Google Video, Images, News, Maps, Blog Search, Hot List, and Website Navigation. However, the Google Toolbar, Documents, and Pinyin Input Method that were included in the previous tests have been removed. This might be because Google wants to mainly promote traffic-generating products on the homepage rather than tool-type products like the toolbar, documents, and pinyin input method. In addition, the portal-style homepage that Google previously tested has not been officially released.

It seems that Google is recently undergoing another round of localization, as the Japanese branch's homepage just completed a revamp yesterday.
