Kaifu Lee: Without open source, there would be no Google of today

The 2006 Open Source China Open Source World Summit Forum opened today in Beijing. The theme of the forum is "Open Standards, Open Source Architecture, Open Source Ecosystems, and Application Solutions." More than 200 people attended the conference today, including dozens of distinguished masters from the open source field who traveled a long distance, as well as senior executives from some multinational companies participating in the meeting. Kai-Fu Lee, Global Vice President of Google, delivered a keynote speech titled "Google's Plans in the Open Source Field."
