Publish your Blog using Writely.com

Is Writely the online version of Word? It seems to be, but not exactly. Writely allows multiple people to collaboratively edit documents, much like a small-scale wiki; it lets you make your document public, just like a mini-publishing page; and at the same time, it is also a blog post editing and publishing software.

Writely supports image embedding (within 2MB), offers richer document formatting options than Blogger's online editor, and of course, all of these are saved online, allowing you to modify your documents anytime from any place with internet access.

How do you use this tool? Let’s take publishing a post to Blogger as an example:

1. Go to the Writely homepage, register or log in;

2. Click the button in the upper left corner to create a new document (of course, you can also click the button to upload your pre-edited .doc or other document elements: HTML files and plain text (.txt), Microsoft Word (.doc), Rich Text (.rtf), and OpenOffice (.odt, .sxw) files smaller than 500K. Image files (.gif, .png, .jpg, and .bmp) smaller than 2Mb.)
