Google's Life Search has recently launched a "bus ticket" search feature. Currently, it only supports bus ticket queries from seven departure stations in Beijing: Chaogongkou, Lize Bridge, Bawangfen, Liuli Bridge, Muxiyuan, Yongxi, and Lotus Pool. There is also no detailed explanation about the bus ticket search feature in the "Help" section of Google Life Search.
This time, Google will not be accused of plagiarism by Coolux, because Coolux does not yet provide a bus ticket search service. Google's bus ticket life search provides eight limiting options: "keyword", "departure station", "arrival station", "departure time", "bus schedule number", "ticket price", "vehicle type", "total seats", and "remaining seats". Unlike ordinary Google searches, clicking on the bus ticket search does not take you to the original website page. Google provides the name, address, and telephone number of where you can purchase the bus ticket for your query, and embeds Google Maps. Users can click on the ticket agent's name to enlarge the map and see the exact location. However, this page is too rudimentary, with an overly long list on the left side, resulting in poor user experience. If you want to check the map location lower down in the list, clicking on the agent's name does not return you to the top of the page to view the map area; instead, you have to manually scroll the page up.
