American Airlines Sues Google Over Keyword Ads

American Airlines sued Google on Thursday for trademark infringement, accusing the company of allowing other companies to use its trademarks in keyword advertising.

American Airlines filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, seeking to stop competitors from using their trademarks to trigger advertisements on Google.

Neither Google nor American Airlines would comment on the case.
