YouTube Faces Copyright Criticism from Japanese Firms

TOKYO (AP) -- An alliance of Japanese TV, music and film companies slammed YouTube on Thursday, saying the video site isn't doing enough to weed out copyright-infringing cartoons and other video clips. The group also questioned the reliability of Google's video fingerprinting system and said they waited too long.
