Gdrive information leaked again, was it deliberate by Google?

I saw the news about Gdrive on ZDNet today. GDrive "Platypus" is still under development, and the author discovered it through a software that uses the information-sharing site Wakoopa. On Wakoopa's website, we can see that the version number of Gdrive ranges from 1.6.188.1 to 1.8.243.1, and it was used by Google internal employees donfool, oriweyl, and navid.
