Picasa is a great image management software provided by Google, but the album space it offers seems a bit small, only 1GB, which is indeed less compared to Flickr's 100MB per month. However, you can still easily manage your photos with Picasa and then upload them to your Flickr album by installing this small extension -- Picasa2flickr.
