Not long ago, Google improved its still unlaunched "Google Trends" product. It now shows the hottest 100 search keywords everyday in each country.
Currently, this upgrade can be seen on Google's trend products. Users can click each keyword and see the changes in heat of this keyword within one day as well as blog articles and news events related to the keyword.
Google said that adult-content-related keywords or common keywords such as weather would not be included on this list. In addition, keywords with consistently large search volumes like Myspace will also be ignored to reflect the change in the latest search trends.
Patel, an engineer for Google Trends, said that this function was very entertaining and even addictive.
Patel said that besides reflecting the changes in popular culture, this ranking is also very useful for Internet researchers or journalists looking for news leads.
It was reported that users can query the hottest 100 keywords everyday in each country by country category.
Previously, Google launched a trend product that reflects search popularity. This product is currently still in the trial version and listed under Google Labs.
