iGoogle, formerly known as Google Homepage, is a personalized home page service. It boasts a vast user base, a wide variety of widgets, and simple, user-friendly operations. However, there are still some details that leave room for improvement, especially the interface which has been criticized by users for a long time. Although theme options have been added, there are still flaws in many aspects. Fortunately, we have Greasemonkey, with which we can maximize the customization of iGoogle.

To use the following tips, you need to install Greasemonkey, a Firefox add-on that modifies web page display through simple JavaScripts code (IE7 currently supports it via IE7 Pro). You don't need to know how to write JavaScripts because many practical codes have been developed voluntarily by users online. All you need to do is click the mouse a few times.
