Glitch on Google site Thursday caused 5% drop in traffic across the Web

May 16 (Beijing Time), -- Bad news for Google is now bad news for the entire Internet. An outage in Google's services that occurred Thursday morning around the world actually caused a 5% drop in Internet traffic, according to one report.
