After a year of non-public testing, Google has finally released the beta version of the Google Analytics API. Since October last year, with many important upgrades to Google Analytics underway, Google hinted that they were about to launch the API for this service. The Google Analytics API allows developers to access Google Analytics data from their own clients and design their own traffic analysis reports based on this data. It also makes a desktop version of Google Analytics a reality.
