Google technology changes attempt to speed up search plans

It's a topic that might have been of interest only to web traffic analysts, but Google is making technical tweaks that could lead to a development everyone cares about: faster search results.

Google spokesman Eitan Bencuya said the company is experimenting with new ways to present search results that are written in the JavaScript programming language and related Ajax interface technology, rather than just plain HTML.
