On the second day of the Lantern Festival, a Google AdSense ad prominently displayed the title "Have you heard? The Big Pants are on fire!" Clicking through revealed an independent online store, which was quite surprising. This method is truly laughable. The advertiser seems to fear that users won't click on the ad. Our purpose in placing ads isn't just to generate traffic, but to attract genuine potential customers from internet users. Such behavior that spares no effort to lure clicks is difficult to comprehend.
Today, I accidentally discovered another interesting Google AdSense ad. At first glance, this ad didn’t seem to have a title at all. Upon closer inspection, the title was just a small "." (period). Only after reading the introduction did it become clear what it was about. Please see the image below.
