Google Calendar is a scheduling management tool launched by Google. Users can conveniently publish their future itineraries, work schedules, and plans to the calendar and receive free SMS reminders from Google on their mobile phones.

Before using this service, users need to log in to Google Calendar with their Google account and set up the phone number they will use to receive SMS messages. The setup method is as follows: click on "Settings" in the upper right corner of the webpage -- then "Mobile settings," input your phone number, and Google Calendar will send a free verification code to your phone. After entering the code and verifying it, you're all set. Both China Mobile and China Unicom phones are supported.

Next, you can set up your schedule reminders. The method is as follows: click on "Create Event" in the upper left corner of the webpage, and set the time, location, and content of the event. Then, in the "Reminders" section, select SMS (which stands for Short Messaging Service), and set the advance notice time to "2 minutes."

The webmaster tested this using a Zhengzhou China Mobile phone number and found that receiving SMS was normal without any noticeable delay. If there is a delay in receiving SMS, you can increase the advance notice time appropriately. Additionally, if the event is private, it's best to set the privacy option to "Private."
