At the end of 2006, Beijing received its first snowfall. As the saying goes, "auspicious snow promises a fruitful year," so next year is definitely going to be a good one. The New Year's holiday lasts for five days, providing ample time to rest and rejuvenate—what a great feeling! Today, I'm in an excellent mood, so I've decided to organize an event where I'll give away some small Google memorabilia that I have.
Event Rules:
1. Write a blog post listing at least five expectations you have for Google in 2007.
2. Add a trackback link to this article in your blog post (What is Trackback?). If your blog does not support the Trackback function, please include a link to this article in your blog post and leave your blog address as a comment on this article.
3. Deadline for participation: January 3, 2007, 12:00 AM. The list of winners will be announced on the afternoon of January 3.
Prize Rules:
1. The final prizes will include: 1 Google lava lamp and 3 Google mugs (photos).
2. All submitted articles will be sorted by submission time. The article whose sequence number equals the remainder when "2007" is divided by "the total number of blogs participating in the activity" will receive the Google lava lamp.
3. The two articles with sequence numbers equal to the winning lava lamp article's sequence number plus or minus 10 will receive Google mugs. (If the result exceeds the range, it will loop back; if there are fewer than 20 participating articles, the mugs will go to the first and last articles.)
4. The last Google mug will be awarded by me personally, given to the article I consider to be the best-written! : )
5. Plus, the rules may seem complicated, but I hope everyone stays calm. If you can't understand them, just trust me: this rule is fair!
