Google China quietly changed 265 homepage LOGO

In May 2008, Google China admitted that it had acquired 265.com, a website owned by 265 Network Technology (Beijing) Co., LTD., through its affiliate Google Ireland. At present, 265.com and Google.cn are funded by "Google Ireland".

Google and 265.com did not disclose the amount of the acquisition, but the speculation is that Google paid at least $20 million for 265.com.

However, Google's acquisition may not be very successful. From the perspective of Google trends, at present, the traffic of Google's 265 and Baidu's 123 has been too different.

Some netizens pointed out that Google in the overall orange page of 265.com, suddenly added the blue "Google" words, making people incomprehensible, in the words of the netizen, "This is Google China is releasing a new LOGO ravaged 265."
