A few days ago, EA officially announced the existence of the "Rising Sun Empire" in Command & Conquer 3 to the public. This move has caused a great deal of dissatisfaction among players in the Asian circle, especially Korean players, who believe that this game unreservedly beautifies Japanese imperialism.

According to EA's official release, the national flag of the "Rising Sun Empire" features a pattern with a central circle and radiating lines. In the game, there will also be scenes where the Rising Sun Emperor announces a "declaration of war" to the whole world. Although actual real-world names are not used, it can be confirmed that the Rising Sun Empire is a country force designed based on Japan during World War II.

These settings have caused great discontent among South Korean players, who have even set up a dedicated webpage to express their dissatisfaction with EA's design. However, at the same time, some players take this lightly. They believe that excessive nationalism can make games, which are meant for leisure, lose their original charm.
