Blizzard launches Chinese website for 'StarCraft II'

August 13, 2008, Shanghai China - Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. and NetEase.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTES) today announced that they have awarded Shanghai NetEase Interactive Network Technology Co., Ltd., an affiliate of NetEase, with the exclusive operation rights in mainland China for Blizzard's StarCraft II, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, as well as Battle.net, the popular online platform that will provide multiplayer interactive services for those games. The two parties also formed a joint venture to provide game operation technical support and other services to offer players in China a first-class gaming experience.
