In order to develop Korea's computer game industry and establish a healthy computer game culture, Seoul Metropolitan Government for the first time held an electronic sports competition last year, drawing the attention of computer game fans around the world. Capitalizing on last year's huge popularity, this year from July 24th to 27th, for four days, Seoul Municipal Government together with Jungang Daily will jointly hold the 'e-Stars Seoul 2008' Intercontinental E-sports Competition at the Seoul Trade Exhibition Center. During this globally-watched digital cultural celebration, top e-sports players from the East and West will compete against each other.
