Behind-the-scenes production:

This film is adapted from the same-name original work by Korea's super-popular comic artist Heo Young-man, which was serialized in "Dong-A Ilbo." This is the second movie based on his original works after the hit Korean film "The Swindlers." The filming process of this movie encountered many twists and turns, as it was delayed for nearly half a year due to the termination of investment contracts by sponsors, and the screening date was changed repeatedly.

To shoot this film, the production team invited over 20 top chefs from Korea to provide culinary guidance. A total of 150 dishes of various flavors were created, costing 1 billion Korean won. Unlike props in previous films that were just for show and couldn't be eaten, these dishes are made with genuine ingredients and are truly delectable delicacies. In 2006, adaptations of comics into films and TV series achieved remarkable results, such as "Gyeoul Yeojee" (The Princess) and "The Swindlers." After holding some limited previews for the media, the film received much praise from industry insiders. Critics noted that director Jeon Yun-su broke through the shadow of "Wave Forecast" and became more bold and expressive rather than maintaining the mediocre style of his previous works, which left little impression. Even those who watched the film with light-hearted expectations found themselves moved to tears by the plot. Before its release, some detailed plots were disclosed online, and many viewers left comments expressing their intention to support the film.
