"Midnight Club III: DUB Edition," inspired by the renowned American "Hot Import Nights" car modification exhibition, will add new drift driving characteristics, all-new tracks, and an unimaginable abundance of vehicle customization options on top of its predecessors in the series. The variety and quantity of parts available for modifications will see a significant increase compared to previous installments.
Another noteworthy feature is the inclusion of a special Racer DNA system in this game. It can automatically record players' driving habits and characteristics during races, creating virtual racer profiles that can be used for online interaction and sharing.
In 2004, THQ acquired Juice Games, the developer of the "Midnight Club" series, after competing with several major game developers including EA, Take-Two, and Namco, thus securing the rights to develop and publish the games. This installment marks the second sequel developed by THQ after obtaining the rights to the series.
