SEGA Corporation has recently announced that the specialized shop for the "Sakura Taisen" series, "Taisho Romantic Dou," and the "Sakura Cafe" will officially close on March 30, 2008.
"Taisho Romantic Dou" opened officially on the 7th floor of SEGA's entertainment facility, "Ikebukuro GiGO," in June 1998. In July 2003, the cafe "Sakura Cafe Teito Tokyo Sakura Kissa" was added. For ten years, whenever a "Sakura Taisen" series title was released, this place would host all-night celebration events for the dedicated series fans who lined up to purchase the games. It also hosted multiple mini-meetings with members of the Imperial Capital Hanagumi (Tokyo Flower Group).
