In the summer of 2007, the classic childhood animated series *Transformers* will be brought to the big screen by renowned director Michael Bay as a spectacular sci-fi action movie, with a significant budget. At the same time, the video game adaptation developed by Travellers Tales and published by Activision will soon be released on multiple platforms. After almost a year of silence from Activision, IGN has finally obtained some exclusive information from Andy Burrows at Travellers Tales, marking the first disclosure of details about the game. The video game version of *Transformers*, titled *Transformers: The Game*, will be available on nearly all platforms, including PC, PS2, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, PSP, and NDS. In the PSP version, players can control 20 Autobots or Decepticons, while it is unclear for other versions; however, Activision has confirmed that Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Megatron, and Starscream are all included. In terms of combat modes, players can engage in close-range fighting or long-range battles, and the shape and weight of each robot will affect their flight capabilities. Of course, from the movie trailers, we can see that the appearance of the Transformers after their redesign is already quite different from what was seen in the animated series.
