New 'Transformers' Game Footage and Images Revealed

"Transformers" will have close ties with the namesake movie slated for release this year in terms of plot and story setting. In the game, players can choose to play as either the righteous Autobots or the evil Decepticons, with the fate of defending or destroying Earth entirely in the player's hands. Just like in the original work, all characters in the game correspond to different attacks, movement actions, and special skills, with their transformation methods and forms also varying. The full list of playable characters has not yet been released; Activision has only disclosed that Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Bumblebee, and Ironhide will definitely appear.

To be unstoppable in battle, players must master the unique characteristics of each character. Additionally, by utilizing the capabilities of next-generation consoles, the game will feature large-scale interactive environments where players can destroy every object within the scene and use props, equipment, or even buildings found in the environment to fight enemies.
