Terminator Salvation

The game's background is described as taking place two years before the events of the namesake movie. Skynet, which once launched a nuclear attack on humanity, was itself damaged and after years of recuperation, has finally initiated its plan to terminate humans. Players take on the role of John Connor, previously protected by the robot starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and lead the surviving humans in a battle for survival in Los Angeles.
