Hideo Kojima: Currently working on two games

In an interview with Famitsu this week, Kojima revealed that he is currently working on two games. The first game is similar in genre to those previously developed by the Kojima team, while the second game is aimed at overseas markets and will be developed by the revamped Kojima Productions. Kojima compared the Western gaming industry to Hollywood, as Western game titles are targeted at the global market. He also mentioned that his team is currently undergoing a "makeover." His goal for Kojima Productions is to become a software development department capable of competing with the best studios in Europe and America.

As of now, there's no information about the two new games Kojima is working on. However, recent reports suggest that Kojima and some of his key employees have been visiting various FPS development studios in Europe and America. Perhaps Kojima is simply trying to gain a deeper understanding of the staffing structures and management practices of Western studios. That said, it wouldn't be surprising if Kojima were to develop an FPS game.
