Voigtlander, which has been quite active in developing lenses for the Leica M mount, has recently launched the new Nokton 35mm F1.2 ASPH II. In addition to retaining the impressive f/1.2 aperture, the lens now features a reduced minimum focusing distance of 0.5m (compared to 0.7m on the previous generation), representing a certain improvement in performance. However, the price has also increased significantly.
