Nikon Releases New Macro Lens AF-S DX 40mm f/2.8G | Photography Friend

This is the newest member of the AF-S DX Nikkor series. It can capture images at a life-size scale from a minimum distance of 0.163 meters, and like many macro lenses, it offers sharp image quality and can easily create beautiful bokeh effects. The AF-S DX 40mm f/2.8G is targeted at the entry-level market, being relatively affordable and compact.
