The Sigma SD1 is finally about to be released.

The SD1 adopts an APS-C format (24×16mm) true image sensor of FOVEON X3 with 46 million effective pixels (4800×3200×3). It is equipped with a newly designed "TRUE II" real image processing engine, which can process two high-precision, high-quality images with 48 million pixels at the same time. It also features a 460,000 pixel 3.0-inch LCD screen, utilizes an 11-point autofocus mode, and has a 77-zone average metering system.
