Redstart designs a self-defense ring for women, so they will no longer fear "wolves"

The Subtle Safety™ Defensive Ring, composed of three connected rings (made of silver with stainless steel joints), comes together as a very stylish piece of jewelry. When you feel the need to be cautious, it can be spread out and worn across three consecutive fingers, transforming into an effective weapon against attackers.

This product comes from Redstart Design, a company founded by three women—Amanda Knox, Sara Shaughnessy, and Kim Hoffmann—who met while studying at Stanford University. They design and produce jewelry. This young design firm has achieved significant success; their product will be featured in the MOMA's Safe: Design Takes on Risk exhibition.
