Nobody would have thought that the Google Phone would appear in this form. On Tuesday, LG Electronics, a south Korean manufacturer claimed that it had reached an agreement with YouTube, a famous online video site, to develop a mobile phone with relevant functions.

LG Electronics revealed that this model of mobile phone would allow users to upload, watch and share videos. Users can even upload their own user created content (UCC) without needing to use a computer. Of course, this mobile phone must meet the 3G standard; if it were as slow as the iPhone, it would be criticized severely.

In the second half of this year, LG's handheld devices will begin to fully support a series of services on YouTube.

Statistics show that there are as many as 70,000 pieces of user-created content on YouTube, and YouTube has approximately 100 million visitors per day.

This mobile phone also provides one-key access to the Google search engine and services such as Google Maps and GMail, making it a real Google Phone.
