Last month, Yahoo announced that it would launch a new logo. Over the past 30 days, a new version of the logo appeared on its homepage every day, and the final one was hidden among them. Today, Yahoo finally revealed the logo that will be used going forward.
The new logo features a modern design with a flat style. The color remains purple, and the exclamation point after Yahoo is still there. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer also said that she personally participated in the design of the new logo:
"One weekend this summer, I rolled up my sleeves and jumped into the trenches with our logo design team. Since then, every Saturday and Sunday we have been fully committed, and every minute has been fun."
