It turns out that trends can be instantly overturned; look at the power of this T-shirt!

On the streets, in buses or subways, there are always some fashionistas. They are dressed in the latest fashions, wearing baseball caps, listening to music on their iPods, and slightly swaying to the rhythm of the music. They look so cool, envied by others. However, during the summer of 2007, when these fashionistas encountered me in public places, they would first glance at me with disdain, then quickly stop moving to the rhythm of the music, stare at me for a moment, and then quickly retreat out of my line of sight (including peripheral vision). In Internet slang, this is called "instant kill." You might ask why. It's simple, I was wearing the T-shirt shown below.

A person like me, who is unremarkable in appearance and unwilling to "go with the flow," is the kind that disappears into the crowd. How can I defeat those fashionistas in terms of clothing? I could certainly imitate them, and probably do it better than they do, but that kind of effect and style is not what I truly desire. Fundamentally, I don't pursue superficial things. Some might say that I am fearless and a bit eccentric, but my understanding is that my free-spiritedness lies deep within, while theirs is only skin-deep.
