In 1975, people were doing 3D design on machines like this one, without a mouse, without color monitors... Interestingly, the male protagonist in the picture is named Jef Raskin. He was the inventor of Apple's Macintosh and Canon's Canon Cat, and it was he who created the clickable and draggable mouse. He was also a renowned expert in the aerodynamics of micro air vehicles (which is why you see his 3D design is an airplane).
