Many enterprises and individuals do not conduct thorough analysis and evaluation when making important decisions in their lives. In team building, when others boast about something being good or having potential for development, we are often deceived by the small benefits in front of us and make big mistakes. For individuals, when we make a life decision or implement a plan, we must carefully investigate and evaluate it. This is responsible for ourselves and our families. Team building companies need to pay more attention to these things and never act rashly.
Long ago, there was a child who herded cattle for a landlord. The child was very serious and diligent. He always drove the cattle to a place with lush grass and flat terrain. The cattle would eat full here naturally, and there was no danger. The child also felt reassured. Every time he drove the cattle to this place, he would find a cool cliff to rest. The child lay on the large stone under the cliff, closed his eyes leisurely, and daydreamed. When he was half asleep and about to fall asleep, he suddenly felt his body floating off the ground. The child woke up quickly, scared, and hurriedly drove the cattle home. That night, lying in bed, he was still thinking about what happened during the day, and he couldn't understand it.
The next day, the child still went to the same place to herd cattle. While resting on the stone slab, he found himself floating off the ground again. The child was greatly shocked and hurriedly drove the cattle home. On the third day, the situation was the same. The child thought, "Is it because the heaven wants to help me and give me some power?" Thinking about this, the child fell asleep.
On the fourth day, the child quit his job as a cowherd and ran quickly into the mountain. Because he walked so fast, an old hunter saw him. The old hunter was curious and asked the child where he was going, but the child ignored him, so the old hunter followed him from afar. When the old hunter saw the child lying on a big stone and slowly floating off the ground, he shot a bullet. The child fell down immediately. The child was about to get angry at the hunter when he saw the direction of the hunter's finger and screamed loudly. It turned out that the hunter had killed a python. The python was using its breath to suck the child towards its mouth. If the old hunter came later, the child would have been eaten by the snake.
This story tells us that human beings are easily blinded by small benefits and lose their ability to judge in the face of temporary interests.
