At about 10 p.m. yesterday, I went to the No. 81 Hospital in Nanjing where Prof. Chen was being rescued after receiving a tip-off from citizens. In the emergency room, a well-built middle-aged man has already lain on the emergency bed in the emergency room without any sign of life.

Cause of the Event

"In fact, it is just a parking dispute. Unexpectedly, because the quarrel was upgraded to physical contact, Prof. Chen lost his life, which is really unnecessary. All of us are drivers. The neighborhood is an old one with narrow roads and many cars, so traffic jam is inevitable. If either party had made concessions at that time, such uncontrollable situation would not have happened," said Mr. Chen, boss of the small shop at the gate of Building No. 18 and No. 8 of the Southeast University family building.
