ECape Town, Feb. 8 (Xinhua News Agency) -- According to "Central News Agency" on February 7, a resident of Pretoria, South Africa recently passed away due to illness but could not be buried. The reason was that his body was too large, weighing up to 550 kilograms, so it would cost a high price to custom-make a suitable coffin, which the family could not afford. Previously, the fire department received a notification and came to Chris Rebaszang's home to take him to the hospital. Soon after, Rebaszang passed away due to illness. He became extremely obese for unknown reasons, weighing as much as 550 kilograms. However, his family was overshadowed by sorrow because they could not afford the funeral expenses. Due to his super-sized body, the crematorium could not cremate his remains. If buried in the ground, a super extra-large coffin must be custom-made, which would cost at least 4000 South African Rand (about RMB 3300), three times more expensive than an ordinary coffin. The family said that only a crane could move the remains.
