Netizens posted photos. Southeast Network - Strait Herald, February 10th (reporter Fang Shu) - In broad daylight, someone in the Garden Expo Park actually took off their pants and urinated on the spot? Yesterday, a Weibo netizen exposed this uncivilized phenomenon. After confirmation by the staff of the Garden Expo Park Management Office, this photo was taken on the Yunzhen Bridge which connects the west gate to the main exhibition island within the park.

Yesterday, a Weibo post titled "Woman Urinates in Public" went viral online. This Weibo post came from a netizen named "Shang Shan Ruo Shui Williamchen". From the photos posted by the netizen, one can see that on the busy bridge, a person is urinating as if no one else is around. According to the description of "Shang Shan Ruo Shui Williamchen", it's a woman. He expressed in his Weibo post that this is really damaging the city's image. The reporter then contacted the netizen, who said it might be because there are too few toilets in the garden, causing people to feel desperate.

Subsequently, after seeking confirmation from the staff of the Garden Expo Park Management Office, it was confirmed that the location where the photo was taken is on the Yunzhen Bridge which connects the west gate to the main exhibition island within the park.

The Weibo netizens posted the photo.

The management office staff admitted that due to the Lantern Festival event recently, the number of visitors in the park has surged, leading to various uncivilized phenomena. Because tickets or identification are required for this lantern show, some citizens without ID or tickets insist on entering forcibly. When the staff tries to dissuade them, they may respond with mild cursing or even physical pushing and dragging at worst. Female workers at the ticket checking area sometimes get pushed so hard that they almost fall down, "crying is a common occurrence," the staff indicated.

The staff frankly admitted that regarding the incident of "woman urinates in public", they had never heard of such a thing before, but it was indeed "too exaggerated".

Editorial Note: As the saying goes, "a man has three urgent needs." Once these needs arise, they can be quite pressing, especially when faced with those long, despair-inducing queues. However, no matter how urgent, one cannot relieve themselves in public. It's simply inappropriate.

Through this incident, we should reflect on whether both tourists and the management of the Garden Expo Park should be better prepared for large events like the Lantern Festival. For example, should tourists relieve themselves beforehand before starting their visit? Should the managers anticipate difficulties more fully and plan services more thoughtfully, prioritizing the needs of the crowd, so that everyone can come and go happily?
